Mileage131,505Service Date2/17/2026Services Performed- TM: Scanned found codes P0316 Misfire 1st 1,000 revolutions, P144a Evap Purge Restricted/Stuck. Smoke tested Purge valve and would not hold pressure. Valve had failed. Also removed and inspected spark plugs found to be OEM original to vehicle. Pressure tested cooling system and also inspected cylinders with borescope to confirm no leaks. Recommend 4 spark plugs, Purge valve to start. TM: Test drove after repairs performed, no issues associated with repair. Noticed transmission shutter/bucking on takeoff. May need further diag (Possible transmission issue), Oil change 10k overdue

Confirmed customer concern, found that spark plugs are 15K Miles overdue and throttle body is heavily carbonized, After removing and replacing spark plugs and cleaning throttle body, confirmed that vehicle is still experiencing a rough idle and slow acceleration, checked TSBs and found that vehicle has condition outlined in FORD TSB 25-2005, the torque converter has overheated causing damage to the torque converter as well as possible internal damage to the transmission. At this time, vehicle will need all parts outlined in TSB 25- 2005,

Confirmed customer concern, found code P2014, found that IMRC on bank 1 is only moving between 0.3v and 1.1v, should be moving between 1v and 4v when opening and closing. back probed IMRC connecter and confirmed that sensor is receiving proper 5v reference and ground. also verified that sig rtrn is not being pulled down due to short to ground. Concluded that there is physical obstruction or damage to the bank 1 intake manifold runner. intake will need to be removed and inspected for further diagnosis.
